The official ‘Gilmore Girls’ trailer is here and it’s filled with so many incredible moments. From Lorelai and Luke’s PDA to all of Rory’s boys to Sookie’s big return, we have a gallery of the best moments from the revival trailer. You’re welcome.
Where do we even begin? There is so much goodness in the trailer. Let’s start with the first scene between Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel). Our fast-talking Gilmore duo is back and haven’t changed a bit. They’re eating (as usual) and talking about what they watched the night before. Typical.
One of the best moments of the trailer is when Lorelai and Rory walk into Emily’s living room to see a huge painting of the late Richard on the wall. Emily (Kelly Bishop) is very pleased with the newest addition to the wall, but Lorelai and Rory are more than a little shocked. Also, seeing Emily Gilmore in a T-shirt and jeans is something you’ve never seen before.
Friday night dinners at the Gilmore mansion are still going on, even though there’s one less Gilmore at the table. However, Kirk (Sean Gunn) manages to get a seat at the table in one scene. WTF?!
Rory and Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) share a scene in the trailer, and it’s amazing. Rory’s going on a rant about how she doesn’t have job, credit or underwear. “I could of been a contender,” Rory says to Jess, referencing On The Waterfront. “You’re still a contender.” There’s nothing quite like a Rory and Jess convo.
Sookie’s (Melissa McCarthy) in the kitchen, Dean (Jared Padalecki) stops by, Logan’s (Matt Czuchry) grinning that mischievous grin, Paris (Liza Weil) is rolling her eyes — it’s like no time has passed. Everything is how it should be. Seeing Rory and Lorelai drinking coffee from Luke’s in the town square will melt your heart. Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, a four-part episode event, will be released Nov. 25 on Netflix.
