Looks like Apple & Moses Martin are following in their famous dad’s footsteps! As frontman of the band Coldplay, Chris Martin had his son & daughter join him on stage at a charity concert in Malibu to show off their musical talents — and they most certainly wowed the crowd! Watch their super impressive performances here.
Having a famous rockstar as a dad certainly has its perks! And for Apple Martin, 12, and her brother Moses Martin, 10, that means getting to sing on stage in front of large crowds along with their father Chris Martin, 39. In fact, the two budding singers took the stage on Oct. 23 at a fundraiser for Boys and Girls Club in Malibu, California, and they totally killed their performances! There’s no question MAJOR talent runs in this family.
Apple and Moses, whom Chris shares with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 44, performed separately at the event but both were accompanied by their father. Apple chose to sing a powerful balled by Ariana Grande, 23, called “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart,” while Moses performed Twenty One Pilots’ hit “House Of Gold.”
We love that Moses even wore his father’s favorite sweatshirt, which he is often pictured with, in addition to a backwards baseball cap. Apple appeared just as comfortable and confident in her light-colored tee and sweatpants. And seriously, could Apple look any more like her gorgeous mom? But one thing’s for sure, both kids definitely got their musical chops from their dad!
And being the total pros that they are, this isn’t even the first time the two youngsters have taken the stage in front of a large audience. Just earlier this year, in June, the siblings performed with Coldplay at Glastonbury Festival during an emotional tribute to the British band Viola Beach. The members of the band were tragically killed in a car accident back in February.
We definitely see loads of talent in Apple and Moses, and, according to Gwyneth, Apple also has the drive to become super successful — just like her mom and dad. “My daughter is super ballsy. I always follow her lead,” the blonde actress shared with Harper’s Bazaar for their November cover story. “I actually don’t need to encourage her to take risks. She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get.” We certainly can’t wait to see where that ambition will take her!
