When Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a ‘nasty woman,’ he had no idea he was starting an online revolution for women everywhere. #IAmANastyWomanBecause has been trending on Twitter ever since, and just wait until you see all of the tweets rolling in!
Nice try, Donald Trump! His latest not-so-nice comment about Hillary Clinton, 68, has totally backfired on him. He referred to her as a “nasty woman” during the third and final presidential debate on Wednesday, October 19, and instead of inspiring others to think of her that way, he did the complete opposite.
It didn’t take long for Hillary’s supporters to start the trending topic #IAmANastyWomanBecause on Twitter, and it immediately took off. Even days after the debate hundreds of thousands of women are taking to Twitter and using the tag to explain what makes them a “nasty woman” — just like Hillary. Woman are explaining how strong they are, educated, loyal, ambitious and dignified they are. Other women are using it to take jabs at Donald, ironically, by saying they are a “nasty woman” for controlling who can and can not grab their you-know-what. Get it, girls!
Check out a handful of tweets below, all of which support the “nasty woman” badge of honor that Hillary now wears thanks to Donald:
#IAmANastyWomanBecause I get shit done when I want it and how I want it and I call that ambition, not aggression.
