The biggest stars in country music were honored at the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony on Oct. 19! With big names like Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Shania Twain and more in attendance, it was a star-studded night — see the pics here!
The annual CMT Artists of the Year ceremony, which airs on Oct. 20, honors the top five country music artists in the most recent year, and the 2016 ceremony is officially upon us! This year, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan are the honorees, and all five couldn’t be more deserving. Meanwhile, Kelsea Ballerini is the year’s Breakout Artist and Shania Twain is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The recognized artists all attended a ceremony in their honor on Oct. 19, and everyone looked amazing all dressed up for the occasion. Carrie always slays when it comes to fashion, and it was no different at this event, for which she showed up in a gold and silver dress with long, black train, paired with Rene Caovilla shoes. She completed the look with her blonde lob in loose waves and dark eye makeup and we’re ALL about it!
And can we talk about how HOT Luke looked in that gray suit?! He completely shattered his clavicle just over a week ago, but it certainly didn’t look to be bothering him as he goofed around with Carrie on the carpet. Meanwhile, Kelsea was a literal princess in her long, pink gown. Gorgeous!
Other stars in attendance included Meghan Trainor, Aly Raisman and Madison Kocian, among others. Click through the gallery above to see all the photos from the big night and let us know whose look you loved best!
