Lamar Odom recognizes his shortcomings and blames Khloe Kardashian for them. The former Los Angeles Clippers star feels Khloe’s world was too rough on him and doing their reality show ruined his life. Read on for all the EXCLUSIVE details.
Lamar Odom, 36, is regretting many of the decisions he made when he and Khloe Kardashian, 32, were a happy and loving couple. The former NBA legend, who nearly died last year, believes KoKo helped contribute to his demise. “Lamar’s made it no secret to his family that he believes doing the Khloe & Lamar reality show was the beginning of his downfall. That
type of television exposure made him feel uncomfortable and nervous and threw his whole basketball game off,” a source connected to Lam’s family told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He was trying to do way too much back then, pleasing Khloe and trying to be superman. The homie loved Khloe so much and put every one of her needs first and was trying too hard to live up to the Kardashian standards of fame and ultimately got caught up in the party scene as a result of being a reality star.”
It’s pretty well documented that Lamar has the tendency to go overboard with his wild partying ways and according to one expert, he may not survive if he doesn’t seek help. “Lamar’s overdose and his stroke have injured his brain and depending on which side of his brain was affected, his ability to make good, healthy decisions may have been affected as well,” Doug Caine, drug addiction expert EXCLUSIVELY told HollyywoodLife.com. “Lamar may not have hit his bottom yet with drinking and drugs. It is also possible he may not survive his bottom. If Lamar has addiction, and it is not effectively treated, he may not survive. Addiction is chronic, progressive and fatal if not treated.”
