October 17 was Latin night on Dancing With The Stars. The sexy and sultry night kicked off with a performance of “Greenlight” from Pitbull featuring Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis!
After a rousing performance, Pitbull took a seat behind the judges’ table.
First up, Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke were told they were SAFE! They danced a Salsa to “La Negra Tiene Tumbao” by Celia Cruz with a fun, blacklight theme (and some stripping). Julianne Hough loved his commitment and said she was impressed. Bruno Tonioli said “undress to impress. It always works.” Carrie Ann Ibana said he lacked musicality. They got a 30 out of 40.
Next, Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber danced a Paso Doblé to “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Santa Esmeralda. Julianne said it wasn’t her best dance. Bruno called her a “fierce little tiger.” Carrie Ann said her “anger and intensity was one dimensional.” Pitbull said she did a great job. They got a 30 out of 40.
Then, Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy did the Cha Cha to “Bla Bla Bla Cha Cha Cha” by Petty Booka. Carrie Ann said she wants her to break “through the glass ceiling.” Pitbull said he loved her outfit and said that she is “phenomenally gorgeous.” Julianne said she has so much sass, but she wants more passion. They got a 28 out of 40.
Next up, James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess danced a sexy Rumba to “Need the Sun to Break” by James Bay. Carrie Ann was just screaming noises, she was so excited. Pitbull said it was sexy and powerful. Julianne said he is, hands down, the best male dancer they have ever had on the show. Bruno said it was pitch perfect. They got a stunning 38 out of 40!
Marilu Henner and Derek Hough danced the Cha Cha to “Echa Pa’lante” by Thalia. Pitbull said he was very impressed. Bruno said she was “graceful yet sexy.” They got a 34 out of 40!
You are not prepared for what happened next! Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko danced the Argentine Tango to “Hands to Myself” by Selena Gomez, and it might have been the sexiest dance of all time! “That is chemistry! You set the record for the hottest Argentine Tango,” Julianne said. Bruno said it was “pulsating with lust!” Carrie Ann said she might win the Mirrorball! Pitbull started stripping because it was “getting hot in here.” They got a perfect score of 40!
After the excitement of that “shower dance,” Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev did the Samba to “Mas Que Nada” by Sergio Mendes featuring The Black Eyed Peas. Bruno said it was fun but she was “forcing the bounce” a little. Pitbull said she was overthinking it a bit. Julianne said she captured the essence of latin night. They got a 31 out of 40.
Next, Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold did an Argentine Tango to “Hotel California” by the Eagles. It was so good! Carrie Ann said she’s never seen lifts like that in 23 seasons. Pitbull said he brought it home. Julianne said he owned the dance and that Calvin and Lindsay were on the same level. Bruno said he was smoldering and in control the entire time. They got a 37 out of 40!
Finally, Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy did the Salsa to “Light It Up” by Major Lazar featuring Nyla & Fuse ODG. Pitbull said it was amazing. Julianne said she needs to loosen up a bit from the “gymnast stance.” Bruno called her a cheeky salsa devil. Carrie Ann said she is the most powerful performer but admitted she had a few tiny mistakes. They got a 37 out of 40!
In the end, we had to say goodbye to Amber and Maks.
