So heartbreaking. Brad Pitt is having a very hard time adjusting after his split with Angelina Jolie, feeling ‘like his life is empty’ now that he can no longer be with their kids all the time. We’ve got the EXCLUSIVE details as to why the whole ordeal is making him more vulnerable than ever.
Things haven’t exactly been easy for Brad Pitt, 52, after his longtime love Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce following their twelve-year romance. He seems to be feeling more distressed than ever these days as he tries to embrace all of these unfamiliar changes. “Unfortunately, he could use all of his old friends right now,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He feels like his life is completely empty without the kids. The house feels big and empty and far too quiet. Brad is still really torn up about everything. He is desperate to finalize a custody arrangement with Angie but there is no way he’s going to agree for anything but equal custody.” How sad.
Our source continued, “Those kids are his life and he’s going to fight for them.” On the plus side, Brad recently saw his little ones for the first time since his public split with the Malificent actress on Oct. 8, but not all of them were present. Even though a monitor was also in attendance for the scheduled meeting, we’re sure Brad was grateful just to be in their company. The former power couple recently settled on a “temporary” agreement on Sept. 30, which gave her full custody of their six kids for three weeks. Once that time period ends, Child Protective Services can impose new rules or send the pair to court to better suit their needs.
Brad was first under investigation by the DCPS over an alleged altercation on a private plane with his son Maddox on Sept. 14, but Angelina reportedly has no desire to punish him further as she only wants what’s best for their family. Additionally, the case may eventually be dropped due to insufficient evidence. Even though Angelina requested sole custody initially, lawyer Kelly Chang Rickert told us EXCLUSIVELY that it’s “absolutely ridiculous to think either of them will end up with NO visitation or custody of the children.” We really hope things get better soon.
