It’s about time! We finally got a look at Evan Peters within the first two minutes of this week’s ‘American Horror Story: Roanoke.’ Let’s just say, it was not what anyone expected — plus, he’s related to an insane character from ‘Freak Show!’
Have you ever wondered what Evan Peters would look like with a George Washington-like wig? You found out on this week’s Horror Story, when we met Edward Mott (yes, Mott as in Dandy Mott from Freak Show). During the dramatic re-enactment narrated by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, we meet Edward, who was a wealthy man who helped build the house in the 1700s.
It only took two nights for the butcher to find him — he was the first she found. While Edward was engaging in a love affair with one of his male servants, Guinness, his true love was for his art. On night two, he found all that art destroyed.
She later roasted him over a bonfire. So, where would he be back in present day? Well he returned to show the family in the house the servant tunnels underground, a way to get out. So he led them into the woods. Naturally. Granted that didn’t work well for them — we were introduced to Francis Conroy‘s character, who was keeping Elias (Denis O’Hare) alive and suffering. She brought them all back to house where the butcher and her group was waiting.
Right before they roasted Flora, Ambrose (Wes Bentley) tackled his mother and brought her into the fire — he sacrificed his life to kill her and end the innocent killings. With that, Edward returned to cut the ties off the family to set them free, just in time for them to flee. Yes, he may be a ghost but he can still save people!
HollywoodLifers, are you happy with Evan’s arrival?
