These two teams are coming off of big wins. The Netherlands demolished Belarus, according to UEFA.com, with Quincy Promes, 24, nailing two goals within the first 31 minutes of the match. Vincent Janssen, 22, and Davy Klaassen, 23, worked as a well-oiled machine to put the Dutch up 4-1 and first place in Group A of the UEFA World Qualification round.
Right on their heels is the France squad, who also pulled off a 4-1 win when they took on Bulgaria. Bulgaria seemed on the verge of a major upset, with Mihail Aleksandrov, 27, netting the ball off a sixth-minute penalty. Yet, Kevin Gameiro, 29, Dimitri Payet, 29, and Antoine Griezmann, 25, would answer that one goal with four of their own, leaving Bulgaria floundering behind third-place Sweden on the group stage table.
Didier Deschamps, 47, might be riding high after leading France to this massive victory. Yet, with soccer sensation Pogba, 23, failing to pull off any major plays during the match with Bulgaria, many wonder if the manager has a definitive plan to get the most out of his players, according to ESPN. A fatal mistake in this match with the Netherlands could leave the France seeing a repeat of the Euro 2016 finals, where they were denied the cup after an overtime loss to Portugal.
Who do you think will win this match, HollywoodLifers? Do you feel France might fight their way for the win, or will the Dutch defeat their French foes?
