Jennifer Morrison and executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis spilled all sorts of ‘OUAT’ scoop at the show’s NYCC panel. From Jennifer’s feelings about Captain Swan’s latest development to answers about this season’s biggest mystery, here are the things we learned at the panel!
For those of you who haven’t seen the Oct. 9 episode of Once Upon A Time, stop reading now! Details from the episode are about to be discussed! You’ve been warned!
At the end of the Oct. 9 episode, Emma took a leap of faith and asked Hook to move in with her. This is a huge step for Emma, as she’s always the one to have her guard up. However, she’s still keeping the secret about her deadly vision from him. So, what’s next for them?
“What we like to explore with them is that they deal with stuff in a real way,” Eddy said at the panel. “A happy ending isn’t an endpoint, it’s a continuing process,” Adam continued, adding that there will be “new challenges along the way” for Captain Swan.
Jennifer made the Captain Swan fans go nuts at the panel when she coyly said that Hook has “a lot of special skills.” It was an epic moment.
But what about Emma and Regina? Their growing friendship is one of the core elements of the show. However, Eddy noted that Swan Queen may not be the closest friendship that Regina has on OUAT. “Regina seems, to me, closer to Snow, even though she tried to kill her for all those year,” he said.
The EPs also teased that we will get the origin story of Jekyll and Hyde, which will happen on the Oct. 16 episode. Fans will get to see “how Rumple affected their lives,” according to Adam. Aladdin and Jasmine are also coming up! We will see more of the Oracle soon and the cloaked figure. Eddy confirmed that we will have the answer to who is under the cloak by Christmas. Once Upon A Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
