Is that Tom Brady on the field or is it Cam Newton? Since Cam has retired his trademark dance, the New England Patriots quarterback brought out the ‘Dab’ during his first game back on Oct. 9. Yes, Tom Brady dabs and fans are losing their minds over it. Click to watch.
Football fans had to double-check their vision after they saw Tom, 39, bust out his move during his comeback game against the Cleveland Browns. The Patriots QB was feeling pretty good as he had just scrambled for a first down. He must have thought like he just was Cam Newton, 27, because Tom busted out a celebratory Dab!
Well, since Cam isn’t doing the Dab anymore, it was Tom’s for the taking. Fans either loved it or hated it but they all were freaking out. Some said that Brady’s dab was better than Cam’s, while others accused the 3-time Super Bowl champ of making the move “even less cool.” Most were just too shocked that Tom actually attempted a Dab that they needed some confirmation what they saw actually happened.

I'm having lunch with my son, and he went "wait! Did Tom Brady just do a Dab?" Me: "what's a Dab?!" 😂😊 https://t.co/OYmtVJGE08

This isn’t the first time that Tom was a viral Internet sensation. During his a legal hearing over “Deflate Gate,” an unflattering courtroom sketch of Tom send the Internet into giggling fits. The sketch made the normally good-looking quarterback look hideous, and many football fans compared the drawing to Disney’s Quasimodo, The Crypt Keeper from Tales From The Crypt, and other zombified monstrosities.
Will this be the most popular Sports Meme of 2016? Well, it has a long way to go before unseating the reigning meme: Michael Phelps’s death glare from the Rio 2016 Olympics. Michael, 31, was starring down at his rival, Chad Le Clos, ahead of an important race. With his hood up and a scowl on his face, many sports fans quickly turned this evil-looking Michael to the meme of the year.
Will Tom’s dab dethrone Michael’s face as the biggest sports meme of 2016, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Brady should keep doing his dance or do you think he should leave it to Cam?
