OMG! The cast of ‘Saturday Night Live’ pulled out all the stops for an EPIC show on Oct. 8, tackling Donald Trump’s recent lewd video scandal! We’ve got all the details about the hilarious opening skit on the second episode of the 42nd season here!
LOL! The superstar cast of Saturday Night Live slayed with their hilarious opening sketch on Oct. 8, taking on the recent scandal regarding Republican nominee Donald Trump. In the skit, they had a mock debate where they addressed a 2005 audio tape which showed him making lewd comments about women. When asked what he would say to women voters now, Alec Baldwin, who portrayed the real estate mogul said, “I promise I can do a whole lot more than just grab it! I can also bump and twist it.” He even goes as far as to say while in character, “Fifty percent of people were turned on by my p***y grabbing comments!”
As we previously reported, the writers and weekend crew even went the extra mile to put together a politically charged, knee-slapping segment just in time for the show. “Last night was a long night and all the writers are working like crazy figuring out some jokes and skits to tackle all the Donald Trump news,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Michael Che and Colin Jost have been working overtime to make Weekend Update heavy on the Donald bashing.”
Shortly before, Alec 58, took on the role of Donald Trump on the Oct. 1 season opener of SNL, and boy did he wow with his spot-on impersonation of the Republican nominee. Michael Che served as the moderator Lester Holt as he introduced Alec before he and Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) started their “debate.” The actor totally embodied the real estate mogul’s persona, saying, “I have the best judgement and the best temperament. She’s the one with the bad temperament,” while tearing into his fake opponent. LOL!
