Tell us how you REALLY feel! Jon Voight defended Donald Trump in a huge Twitter rant, saying that he’s the hardest working man there is. He even took jabs at Robert De Niro.
Standing by his side. Jon Voight, 77, took to Twitter in an impassioned rant, where he strongly maintained his support for Donald Trump, 70. He also called out Robert De Niro, 73, for his EPIC video where he shouted that he wanted to punch the presidential candidate. “I am so ashamed of my fellow actor Bobby DeNiro’s rant against Donald Trump,” Jon wrote on Oct. 8. “What foul words he used against a presidential nominee, who has worked harder than any other man I know in the past year and a half to get a good message to the American people. I don’t know of too many men who haven’t expressed some sort of similar sexual terms toward women, especially in their younger years. Donald Trump’s words were not as damaging as Robert’s ugly rant. Trump’s words did not hurt anyone. Can you imagine if any Republican said words like De Niro used against Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama? All hell would break loose. I am calling for all Trump supporters to express their outrage and anger against De Niro and all of the Republican turncoats against Trump. Let Donald Trump know we are completely behind him, and may God give him the strength to continue his calling.”
Wow. We don’t know what we’re more surprised about — Jon’s such strong support of Donald, or the fact that he REALLY unleashed on Robert. How can we forget about the Casino actor’s amazing video in which he pretty much said how we all were feeling about the GOP candidate? “He’s a national disaster,” Robert exclaimed. “He’s an embarrassment to this country.” Preach, Robert!
Of course, both Jon and Robert are referring to Donald’s vile comments toward women from a leaked 2005 hot mic tape. In it, he said to to then Access Hollywood host Billy Bush, 44, how he could easily grope women because of his fame and wealth. “And when you’re a star they let you do it. Grab them by the p***y.” Donald later apologized for the video, calling it a “distraction.” So disgusting.
