As if the Cardinals needed any bad news following their pitiful start, their quarterback, Carson Palmer, 36, suffered a concussion during the 17-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 2, per ESPN. Drew Stanton, 32, could step up and take over if Carson’s not cleared for the game, but that’s not the only injury woes facing the Cards.
Six more players, including running back Chris Johnson, 31, sat out practice. Andre Ellington, 27, could sub in for Chris come game time and maybe Patrick Peterson, 26, can step up with his one-handed catches and save the redbirds from going 1-4.
Meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick’s, 28, protest during the national anthem has been successful in forcing people to talk about police brutality among communities of color in America. However, it hasn’t translated to success on the gridiron. Blaine Gabbert, 26, has been the starter this season, though some 49ers want to see Colin replace the 26-year-old, according to SB Nation. Will Colin be picked to start this game against the injured Cardinals?
Either way, this game will give one team their second win of the season. Who do you want to see walk away with the victory, HollywoodLifers? Are you for the 49ers getting back on track or are you cheering on the Cardinals?
