Kylie Jenner is already switching up her platinum blonde locks! The reality TV star showed off a new rose gold color that we’re beyond obsessed with. If you want to try the look for yourself, click ahead for some expert how-to advice.
Kylie Jenner, 19, is back with another bold color. The natural brunette took a break from her wigs when she dyed her hair platinum blonde ahead of New York Fashion Week. While she added (and removed) extensions in the weeks that followed, her icy blonde hue remained the same — until now.
To pull off the pastel color, you’re going to need blonde or platinum hair since the super light shade won’t show up on darker hair colors. If you have blonde hair (or copied Kylie and turned to a pro to go platinum), you can use a temporary spray or chalk that will wash right out.
If you don’t mind keeping the color in through a few shampoos, use an in-shower toning conditioner like Splat’s Colorizer in Pushy Pink, $7.50. Available at Ulta and Ulta.com, through the month of October, the brand will donate 50% of the sales from the pink shade to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. If you’d rather spray the rose gold color onto your hair and wash it out later that day, try Joico’s InstaTint Temporary Shimmer Spray in Orchid, $7.50.
