It’s not going to be easy for Kim Kardashian to recover after being attacked and robbed in Paris — she’ll even be going to therapy to get help with the healing process, according to a new report.
Days after being held at gunpoint and robbed, Kim Kardashian, 35, is understandably still incredibly traumatized, and she’s ready to see a specialist to talk through her feelings about it. “Kim is surrounded by her friends and family now,” a source tells E! News. “She is really upset and is going to speak to a therapist in deeper lengths about this.”
We don’t blame the reality star for feeling terrified: After all, it is a majorly traumatic experience to be dragged out of bed with a gun to your head, then tied up and locked in a bathroom by strange men in masks. The site reports that Kim is “emotionally damaged” over the ordeal, and adds that “it’s going to take a while to get over it.” Already, she’s cancelled an upcoming appearance in Dubai, and has been hiding out in New York City since this all went down on Sunday night.
Of course, she can’t stay locked up and away from the public forever, but we can certainly expect things to be very different once Kim is back in the spotlight. For one, she probably won’t be publicly flaunting her expensive jewelry on social media as much as she used to, and it’s likely that she’ll be upping her security in a big way. Kim’s bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, was actually out with Kourtney Kardashian, 37, and Kendall Jenner, 20, when the robbery happened, so she was without protection in her giant suite. We can bet that won’t happen again!
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s a good idea for Kim to go to therapy?
