The men who robbed Kim Kardashian were able to get into her apartment with help from the concierge — but why would he let them in? New details about what Kim reportedly told police following the incident reveal just how crucial the doorman’s story is to this whole case. Get the latest here.
We already knew that the concierge was held at gunpoint and threatened by the robbers who attacked Kim Kardashian, 35, which is why he led them straight upstairs to her apartment and unlocked the door. However, the reality star reportedly gave an interview to police over the phone in which she told them more info about the concierge that seems a bit fishy, according to TMZ.
The site reports that Kim “made a point” to tell officials that the building’s doorman was “extremely calm, despite being cuffed and held at gunpoint.” She reportedly added that the concierge led the gunmen right upstairs during the robbery, and that, contradictory to previous reports that he was locked in a stairwell after, he was in the room the whole time, then led back downstairs to the lobby when the attack was over.
It is not made clear whether or not the 35-year-old actually thinks the concierge had anything to do with what happened, however, authorities are definitely considering him a key witness, especially with all this new information. As we previously reported, Kim was tied up and locked in the bathroom, with her mouth taped, as the men raided her room, stealing more than $10 million worth of jewelry and completely terrorizing her.
She has since been back in the States, holed up in a New York City apartment with Kanye West, 39, and their kids. The rapper is set to resume his tour on Oct. 7, though, but it’s unclear if Kim will join him on the road again.
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s strange if the concierge actually did seem so calm?
