Simone Harouche was inside Kim Kardashian‘s Paris chateau that was robbed Oct. 3. She was reportedly downstairs sleeping when the robbers entered the apartment and allegedly fled up the stairs to the 35-year-old’s room. Simone was reported to have locked herself in a nearby bathroom where she immediately called for help. While there are reports that Simone and Kim heroically escaped, there are also reports that this could have been an “inside job.” But, we need to clarify that there has been no word of who could have been involved. 1. Simone is a well known fashion mogul, with an insane list of celebrity clientele.
It’s surprising that some people have not heard of Simone before the tragic robbery. She has worked with stars like The Rolling Stones, Jennifer Lopez, 47, Ashley Tisdale, 31, Demi Lovato, 24, and many more. She got her big break when she became the genius behind Christina Aguilera‘s Back To Basics world tour, giving the 35-year-old, her signature pin-up look. The Hollywood Reporter named Simone one of the “Top 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood”.
2. She is very close with the Kardashian family.
Ever wonder how the famous family always looks so good? Well, Simone has a little something to do with that — She’s styled: Kim, Kris, 60, Kendall, 20, and Kylie Jenner, 19, and Kourtney, 37, and Khloe Kardashian, 32. Not only has she provided them with some of your favorite looks, she’s managed to strike up a very close relationship with the larger-than-life family. Just hours before the terrifying robbery attack, Kourtney posted a selfie with Simone and Kim on their way to the Givenchy show at Paris Fashion Week. The Paris attack was most likely a major scare for more than just Simone. According to her Instagram account she has a hubby, Marc Bretter, at home and two children — a son, Dashiel, 4, and a daughter, Azlan, 2! Her page is filled with intimate photos of she and her “baby daddy,” along with her little family. One photo of the two appears to be at a wedding with the caption “tbt” and the date “August 14, 2010” — Presumably when the two tied the knot. 4. When she’s not styling her high profile friends, she’s designing handbags.
Simone is the creator of Simone Camille Inc., a brand of leather and vintage handbags. Aside from her design skills, she can probably credit a lot of her accomplishments to her Parsons, NY graduate degree. She studied journalism and photography. The stylist eventually got into fashion through her reported extensive research in costume design. And, the rest was history when she racked up a power house of celeb clients.
5. She is VERY close with Nicole Richie, 35, and Miley Cyrus, 23.
Her Instagram is filled with photos of she and Nicole. Silly candids with the fashion designer take up most of her pics, aside from her family. This could explain a part of her connection to the Kardashian family, since they are openly close with Nicole. Simone is said to have worked with Miley for over five years.
