Senator Tim Kaine and Governor Mike Pence will be up against each other in the only vice presidential debate of the season, taking place on Oct. 4, and HollywoodLife.com is making sure you know exactly when and how to watch the hugely important event.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump‘s running mates — Sen. Tim Kaine, 58, and Gov. Mike Pence, 57, respectively — are facing off in tonight’s vice presidential debate, and you won’t want to miss it. Here’s everything you need to know!
The debate airs tonight, Oct. 4 at 9:00 PM EST and will be 90 minutes long. You can watch it live on all major networks, including CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, PBS, CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC. Even better, many channels will let you stream online if you log in with your cable provider!

So what can we expect tonight? Well, nice-guys Kaine (of Virginia) and Pence (of Indiana) are not likely to top last week’s face-off between Trump, 70, and Clinton, 68 — who unabashedly hurled insults at one another on live television — but they’re still going to contest each other at a vital time in the election. Political experts say that Kaine is likely to take on Trump’s “temperament and character”, while Pence is apt to try and convince viewers that Clinton wouldn’t affect change in Washington the way Trump can.
If nothing else, the debate will put Pence and Kaine’s mainly wholesome images to the test, and it will be interesting to see them battle it out while attempting to stay civil. Only one way to find out — watch and see for yourself!
