OMG! Lil’ Wayne and Kevin Hart’s alter-ego ‘Chocolate Droppa’ had one of the most hilarious rap battles EVER at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. The two stars showed off their lyrical skills, pulling out all the stops for the win! See them face-off here!
Lil’ Wayne kicked off the rap battle with some serious swag, showing off his epic freestyle skills at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards on Oct. 4. Even though the “A Milli” star put on an INCREDIBLE performance with his witty bars, Kevin Hart (Chocolate Droppa) didn’t appear to be phased in the least by his competition, standing shirtless with his shades on and hat flipped backwards. Kevin slayed with his hilarious rhymes, “Droppas, insane, the rest of ya’ll are lame…Drop the beat twice, matter fact, tell everyone I hate mice.” LOL!
Both Kevin and Lil Tunechi pulled out all the stops for their cypher face-off, making the audience crack up during the star-studded award show. The comedian’s alter ego has been on a roll, releasing a single featuring Trey Songz called “Push It On Me” on Sept. 30. Kevin’s even been hyping up the arrival of his Motown debut, What Now? The Mixtape. If that name sounds familiar, it’s also the title of his upcoming stand-up film, which will hit theaters on Oct. 14. Way to go!
Kevin is no stranger to rap battles, as Chocolate Droppa has also competed against T-Pain before, so he’s built up quite a reputation! The show was definitely a treat to hip-hop lovers, as Snoop Dogg was honored as this year’s “I Am Hip Hop” Award honoree! On top of that, T.I., Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, and Desiigner and many other heavy-hitting artists took the stage for sizzling performances. After DJ Khalad absolutely killed it with his hosting duties, we can’t help but want him to do “another one!”
