Kim Kardashian was rightfully ‘hysterically’ after she was attacked in her own residence in Paris on October 2, according to a new report, and she called husband Kanye West right away. How is she holding up now that they’ve reunited?
After Kim Kardashian, 35, was bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint, she needed to call Kanye West, 38, right away, a source told People magazine. This was reportedly the call that Kanye got mid-concert when he was performing at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York City that same night; he rushed off the stage due to a “family emergency” to do everything in his power to help his distraught wife, even if it was over the phone.
“Kim was terrified,” the source told People. “She was just hysterical when she talked to Kanye. He said she was really upset and it took him a few seconds to understand what she was saying to him. He wanted to get to her as soon as he could. He told her that he couldn’t care less about the jewelry (that was stolen at gunpoint); he’s just thankful that she’s okay.”
“The whole thing happened really fast,” the source continued. “Ye says that it all hit her after the guys had left, and then it sunk in. It took her a little bit of time to pull it together. Of course her family is all there for her, and Kanye is there for her, too, but she’s going to deal with the aftermath of this for a while.”
Thankfully, Kim and Kanye have reunited after her horrifying incident. Kanye was spotted looking devastated as he left his apartment in Tribeca, in NYC, to go pick Kim up from the airport. After giving her statement to Parisian police, she hopped on a plane and headed to the United States to see her family. The couple were seen together heading into the apartment, along with Kris Jenner, 60. And you bet they were surrounded by security.
