Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her Paris apartment on Oct. 3, and though the lavish residence features discreet entrances, that wasn’t enough to keep intruders from getting inside and tying up the reality star. Check out photos and get all of the details about Kim’s rented apartment — which can cost up to $30,000 a week to stay in — right here.
Kim Kardashian, 35, had the scariest night of her life during what was supposed to be a fun and exciting trip to Paris Fashion Week. Before the robbery, though, in typical Kim K style, she was renting out a luxurious mansion that locals refer to as “No Address France” because it’s so exclusive. The official name is l’Hotel de Pourtalès, and it is located in Paris’ 8th arrondissement. It was built in 1838-1839 under the direction of Count James Alexander of Pourtalès, who wanted a mansion designed in an Italian Renaissance-inspired style. Click through the gallery, attached, to see more pics of Kim’s amazing residence.
l’Hotel de Pourtalès is popular with celebrities, and stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Prince and Madonna have also stayed there. It’s not publicly advertised — one even needs a log-in to view the website — and people find out about it via word of mouth. As we can see in the pics, the suites are gorgeous, with floor-to-ceiling windows and shiny countertops in the kitchen. Well, one would expect the best for a €27,000 price tag (about $30,000)!
The residence boasts secret exits to help its A-list patrons keep a low profile, but sadly, that wasn’t enough to keep Kim from being attacked and having millions of dollars worth of jewelry stolen. Fortunately, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was left physically unharmed, but she is undoubtedly shaken up after the scary incident.
