Well here’s a different perspective! Kim Kardashian’s ex-bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, says ‘it’s no surprise’ that his former client was robbed at gunpoint because of how she ‘flaunts her riches’ on social media. Read his full statement, here.
OK, so Kim Kardashian, 35, isn’t the most humble celebrity when it comes to her lavish lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean she deserved to get robbed! Now, her former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, is coming forward with a unique opinion of his own, regarding the scary break-in that occurred on Oct. 3. “I saw this happening,” he confessed to the Daily Mail, adding, “It just had to with the way Kim flaunts her riches and her diamonds.” Wow!
He has a point, though, since the Selfie Queen sure isn’t shy about plastering her luxurious cars and fur coats all over social media. Kim took an extreme close-up picture on Sept. 30 of the $4 million dollar diamond ring Kanye West gifted her — the same sparkler that was stolen during Paris Fashion Week just FOUR days later! Did the robbers check out her Instagram page before breaking into her apartment at 3AM?
“The stones on her fingers are worth maybe $10m and they try and save on their security” continues Steve, noting that Kim should stop splurging on materialistic things and focus on her safety instead. “For $300 a day they could have a fully trained former police officer with them. That is peanuts to people with their kind of wealth.” Hiring personal bodyguards is NOT an area where Kim should be frugal — and her hubby agrees! The “Famous” rapper “unleashed hell” on Kim’s current bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, because he was not in the apartment to save her, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Kanye urges Kim to have 24/7 security with her now!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kim should be more careful of what she posts to social media?
