After leading Man City over Manchester United in the “Manchester Derby,” Pep Guardiola, 45, has proven that he’s the right man for the job of managing the Sky Blues. Yet, he’s expected to face his biggest challenge in this match, according to BBC Sports.
The Spurs, like Man City, haven’t lost a game (but they have played to a draw twice so far this season.) Tottenham has made their best start in 51 years, and what better way to establish themselves as a title contender than by beating their rivals?
The Spurs, under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino, 44, have the best defensive records in the league, according to ESPN. The Spurs have only allowed three goals so far. Yet, some argue that they have such a great record because they’ve played against weaker teams and their two draws came when they faced serious competitors Liverpool and Everton.
Still, the Spurs have been without Harry Kane, 23, Eric Dier, 22, and Dembele, 29, over the past three games and they’ve still managed to win with Ben Davies, 23, and Kieran Trippier, 26. With a strong, well-rounded squad, Tottenham might be the one team strong enough to give Man City their first official loss.
Who do you think will win this game, HollywoodLifers? Will the Spurs succeed or will Man City crush the competition? Or do you think these two amazing squads will play to a draw?
