Kate McKinnon is the whole package! The actress is famous for slaying her impersonation of Hillary Clinton on ‘SNL,’ but that only scratches the surface! We’ve got the top 5 things you need to know about the multi-talented star here!
1.) Kate McKinnon is an Emmy-award winning actress and comedian.
She’s best known for her long-running stint on Saturday Night Live, killing it every time when it comes to celebrity impressions. Kate’s performed as Justin Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres, Iggy Azalea, and Emilia Clarke just to name a few. She’s also been nominated for four Primetime Emmys, winning one in 2016! On top of that, this year she starred in Ghostbusters!
2.) She may have the best impersonation of Hillary Clinton of all time.
One of Kate’s most memorable and hilarious roles is when she portrays the Democratic nominee on SNL. It’s become even more prevalent with the 2016 Presidential election going on. When the star took home her Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in A Comedy Series, she made sure to thank Hillary twice during her acceptance speech. FYI: Kate will also be voting for her!

3.) The actress was SNL’s first openly lesbian cast member.
Kate first made her debut as one of the lead stars of the hit NBC show on April 7, 2012. She was the series’ third known gay cast member, following the announcements of Terry Sweeney and Danitra Vance. We love how she’s not afraid to show the world who she really is! Get it, girl.
4.) Kate is a major cat-lover.
The comedian can’t help but gush over her pet cat Nino Positano, whom she jokingly refers to as her son! During Kate’s Sept. 28 interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show, she nearly had the audience in tears from laughing so hard while she discussed her “overweight” and “ungrateful” feline. LOL!
5.) She may be a certified star, but she’s not into social media.
Kate previously revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, “I send emails and text messages to about five people. Other than that, it’s absolutely zero. I’m very frightened of saying anything. I scare myself. I don’t want to put anything out there that could misrepresent my feelings.”
