Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are entangled in a messy divorce, but it could get a bit crazier when they have to divide their 12 multi-million dollar properties! From Italy, to London, and France, the Jolie-Pitts put their stamp on a lot of prime real estate! Get the scoop inside their lavish hot spots! How will they possibly divide it all?
Brad, 52, and Angelina, 41, obviously have a lot of things to work out amidst their not-so-subtle divorce. And since they apparently just reached a custody agreement, the division of their homes could be next. However, this could be a lot more complicated than you may think, since the couple own about 12 INSANE properties around the world.
In the mid and late 1990s Brad purchased three separate properties for a whopping $2.55 million in the celeb-infested Los Feliz area in LA, according to our sister publication Variety. Not long after, the couple (at the time) reportedly added an additional two properties to their real estate resume for a combined total of $2,387,500.
Later in 2006, Jolie-Pitt splurged on a mansion in New Orleans’ French Quarter for $5.65 million. You know, pocket change…Anyway, the interior supposedly includes a “gourmet kitchen and top of the line appliances.” Not to mention, it’s reported to have an insane swimming pool and a two-story guest house.
Then in 2012 the two reportedly acquired the 1,200 acre Chateau Miraval, in the South of France for $60 million! And this amazing estate includes the Miraval Winery. The home has been rumored to have 35 rooms, and no, that was not a typo. Variety says the pad has everything and more, like; recording studios, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa and gym, a professional-grade screening room, an arcade, a dirt bike course, OH and a couple of helicopter landing pads. Like, seriously?!
Angie has apparently owned a 1,232-square-foot apartment on New York City’s Upper West Side since 1997. The city suite reportedly sits on a high floor of the gorgeous Ansonia building. Then in 2003 she’s said to have purchased a chateau on 100 acres in Cambodia’s Battambang Province. Shortly after she obtained 12,000 acres of land that she would later turn into a Cambodia Wildlife Preserve.
The list is getting long, but it goes on — Next up, a reported 11.5 acre ocean-front compound along the beach outside of Santa Barbara, CA. We’re not sure what this presumably stunning property is worth, but we’re sure they paid a pretty penny.
Brad and Angie are said to own a beyond beautiful West London home worth $16 million and another Vineyard, Villa Costanza Italy coming in at a staggering, $41 million!
We don’t know about you, but we’re a slight bit exhausted from that list, so take a breather before we get to the legal chat. SO, how could these two separate all of their lavish estates? Well, Divorce Attorney, Robert Wallack EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, “The property division will be according to the terms of their prenuptial agreement. The agreement will likely specify who gets what.”
As you may know, Angie filed for divorce on Sept. 19 citing “irreconcilable differences.” In the 11-page legal divorce docs obtained by us (in the link above), she asked for full physical custody of the couples six children, and her wish was reportedly granted, well kind of. Brad and Angie have apparently reached an agreement that gives the actress FULL custody of their six children, however, it is allegedly ONLY temporary. Their apparent agreement is said to involve some ground rules: therapists, individual and family counseling, random drug and alcohol testing, and more. You can see the full reported agreement right here!
