Tom, 20, was seen filming a very important scene in Astoria, Queens on Sept. 26. Tom, repping the Spidey suit Peter Parker got from Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War, looked more than ready for a little action. In some of the photos, Tom doesn’t have his mask on, his adorable face in clear view!
The best photo from Tom’s latest day on set has to be the one where he’s dressed in Hello Kitty pajamas and a touristy NYC T-shirt. What happened to his Spidey suit?! It looks like Peter’s going to be taking a walk of shame.
Tom’s Spider-Man is much younger than the two previous actors who played the web-slinging hero. His brief but memorable appearance in Captain America: Civil War proved that he’s more than capable of taking on the comic book superhero.
The new movie will follow the young Peter Parker as he struggles to find a balance between being a teenager and a superhero. The movie had been previously filming in Atlanta, but recently moved to New York. As we all know, Peter Parker is from Queens, New York. You can’t NOT film a Spider-Man movie in NYC!
Tom stars alongside Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress and Tyne Daly. Tom is the third actor, after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, to take on the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the big screen. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released on July 17, 2017.
