This is it! After a long primary season that saw more than twenty candidates enter the race, it’s come down to just two: Hillary Clinton, 68, and Donald Trump, 70. The Democratic and Republican nominees will now face off for the first time on Sept. 26. Hostra University in Long Island, New York may not contain the political action that’s about to go down, so be ready when the event kicks off at 9:00 PM ET.
There are numerous ways to watch this historic event. Facebook will stream ABC News’s coverage through Facebook Live, while Twitter will stream Bloomberg TV’s coverage through debates.twitter.com. CNN will also have a livestream. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE LIVE STREAM.
The topics for this debate will be “America’s Direction,” “Achieving Prosperity” and “Securing America.” The debate will be structured to six issues, and both Donald and Hillary will talk about each for fifteen minutes before moving on. When moderator Lester Holt, 57, revealed these overall topics, voters were a bit confused. They’ll have to tune in and hope that the NBC newsman can clear things up.
The estimated 100 million voters tuning in will also have to see if Trump really did invite Gennifer Flowers, 66. Donald extended an invite on Twitter after he heard that his rival, Mark Cuban, 58, was going to be siting in the front row. Gennifer was one of the women Bill Clinton, 69, admitted to having a sexual affair with more than two decades ago. Using one of Bill’s old mistresses as a way to psych out Hillary? Gross, Donald. While Gennifer said she accepted the invite, Trump’s camp said they didn’t officially ask her to attend the debate, per CNN. So, will she or won’t she be there?
More importantly, will Donald keep his cool? He notoriously bashed his Republican rivals during the GOP debates, tearing down John Kasich, 64, Jeb Bush, 63, Ted Cruz, 45, and Marco Rubio, 45, with one vicious attack after another. When he finally meets Hillary, will he unleash another misogynistic insult? Will Hillary dodge any verbal jabs and come out on top? There’s only one way to find out
Are you going to watch the debate, HollywoodLifers? Who do you think will be the next president of the United States?
