Get ready, football fans, as the Battle of Pennsylvania is about to go down! The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Philadelphia Eagles and that’s just one of the many amazing football games taking place during the NFL’s Week 3. Click to find out all the others!
After two explosive weeks of hot football action, most teams are getting into the groove. However, for Coach Rex Ryan, 53, he might not want to get comfortable. After Rex failed to lead the Buffalo Bills over his former team, the New York Jets, many fans were calling for his head! The Bills host the Arizona Cardinals, and after the Cards thumped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (40-7), it doesn’t look good for Rex.
There are two questions going into the New England Patriots vs. Houston Texans match: who’s going to be the quarterback (since Jimmy Garoppolo, 24, is out with a shoulder injury, per USA Today) and who’ll be under the #FakeBrady mask this week? Before the Pats game against the Miami Dolphins, New England’s Wes Welker, 35, was the face behind the horrifically realistic Tom Brady, 39, mask. Scary.
The game of the week might be the “Battle of Pennsylvania,” as the state’s two undefeated teams – the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles – will go toe-to-toe, face-to-face one the Lincoln Financial Field. Philly’s quarterback Carson Wentz, 23, and the Eagles defense were the 1-2 punch that knocked out the Chicago Bears during Monday Night Football on Sept. 19, and they’re ready to take on Ben Roethlisberger, 34, and Steel City. “If we keep that up, the sky’s the limit on where we can go,” Eagles’ defensive end Brandon Graham, 28, told Phlly.com. “I expect big things for us.”
