Sarah Hyland’s gorgeous makeup was done by Allan Avendano using L’Oréal Paris makeup. He spilled on the inspiration: “Sarah’s Monique Lhuillier ensemble had quite a few colors going on so it was really important to make sure that her makeup didn’t compete. That being said, we really wanted to make it special with details that would complement the outfit. It was a moment of “less is more” and we decided on a special gold liner detail on the eye with eye gloss to keep everything dewy and fresh.”
Every single product used in her makeup look is under $25!
He prepped skin with Youth Code Skin Illuminator Tinted All-in-1-Moisturizer and used Revitalift Miracle Blur Eye Treatment under her eyes.
To make her gorgeous skin pop, he used Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation, that gave her skin a healthy glow. For any areas that needed brightening or extra coverage, he used True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer.
For a stunning highlight, he used True Match Lumi Liquid Illuminator in Ice on her cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and her cupid’s bow.
He applied a thin line on her upper lash line with the NEW! Voluminous Liner Noir the followed with the Infallible Silkissime Liner in Silver for a pop of color.
To give her a “golden eye” look, he used Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine, creating a metallic by using a wet brush. He followed with the Colour Riche Le Gloss in Naturally Nude.
On her lashes, he used the NEW! Voluminous Feline Mascara Blackest Black. Brows were combed into place and filled in with the Brow Stylist Definer in Brunette
Visible Lift Blush in Berry Lift was applied to her cheekbones for a flush. Finally, he combined Colour Riche Lip Liner in Eternal Mauve and Colour Riche Lipstick in Bronze Coin on her lips for a frosty pout.
Ryan Richman styled Sarah’s looped ponytail and told us: “For Sarah’s hair this evening, I wanted to keep her young and fresh. Her outfit was heavily embroidered so we opted for a look that was simple and elegant.”
To get the look, shower with the L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
Ryan applied Advanced Hairstyle Sleek It Frizz Vanisher Cream to damp hair and combed through to fight frizz.
He used the Harry Josh Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 and a round brush to get a sleek look. Then he used a couple pumps of the Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum in hair, focusing on the ends for shine and polish.
Gather hair in a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. On the last twist, copy Ryan and only pull hair half way through to create a look.
To hold and finish the look, spray with Advanced Hairstyle Lock It Bold Control Hairspray.
A pro tip from Ryan: “For a fun at-home twist, wrap the ponytail with colored elastic string multiple times instead of a rubber band. Also, let a few shorter strands fall out of the loop for added texture and an effortless style.”
