Happy Batman Day! ‘Justice League’ is in production and the director of the film has been celebrating everyone’s favorite brooder with a few fun tweets over the past few days. Check out a first look at the new ‘tactical Batsuit’ and other tributes to the superhero!
It’s Sept. 17, which everyone knows is #BatmanDay! So, today Justice League director, Zack Snyder, tweeted a picture of himself in front of the Bat Signal to celebrate the superhero and promote the new film. Earlier this week he revealed the first look at Batman’s new “tactical Batsuit,” and fans have been buzzing about it ever since.
“Homestretch. Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit.#JusticeLeague #Batman,” Zack tweeted, along with a photo of the fearless hero in his amazing new gear. This first look is definitely a fun one, but it isn’t the first glimpse we’ve gotten of the film itself. Warner Bros. unveiled a teaser for the flick in July at San Diego Comic-Con.

Justice League brings together many DC Comics heroes, including Batman (Ben), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). The film is reportedly much lighter than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was “criticized for taking itself too seriously,” according to our sister site, Variety. Which we’re glad to hear, because, as great as watching Henry and Ben duke it out was, the film was kinda a downer. It was also was a bit of a disappointment at the box office, grossing $872.7 million worldwide on a $250 million budget. Ouch.
Justice League began shooting in April with an all-star cast, that also includes Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J. K. Simmons, and Willem Dafoe. Justice League hits theaters on Nov. 17, 2017. Can you wait over a year to see it? Cause we don’t think we can!
