No ‘Bad Blood’ here! Taylor Swift is still cheering for ex Tom Hiddleston to win an Emmy award, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned, despite the crumbling of their 3-month romance. Read on to see how the singer is keeping a positive headspace!
Just because Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, didn’t make it as a couple, that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends! The British actor is gearing up to attend the Emmys on Sept. 19, and we know there will be at least one person cheering him on. “Taylor is well aware that the Emmys are this weekend and despite her split from Tom, she’s still hoping he will win an Emmy,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
The night of the Emmys was supposed to mark the couple’s red carpet debut, but after Tom extended the invitation to Taylor, their romance quickly fell apart. The “New Romantics” singer was reportedly worried that Tom was dating her for the wrong reasons, and was concerned he was with her to boost his project’s publicity. Other reports suggest Tom was the one who cut the cord, as he has an alleged “three-month” dating rule.
Either way, we’re so happy to hear that Taylor isn’t holding onto any negative emotions! Tom’s drama miniseries, The Night Manager, has been nominated for an Emmy, and Taylor will be rooting for him to win! “She thinks he is a gifted actor and should be recognized for his work in The Night Manager,” the source continues. “She knows how much this means to him, and only wishes him the best.”
But don’t worry, guys, Taylor hasn’t lost her edge completely. Just because she’s keeping a positive attitude, that doesn’t mean she’s not writing songs about her ex! The hitmaker is BACK in the studio and is working on new material, which we hope will give some insight into her relationships with not only Tom, but with Calvin Harris, too! Calvin just released his track “My Way,” and we can’t wait for Taylor to do the same!
HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Tom will walk away with an Emmy award?
