She’s staying so strong! Lea Michele admitted that she’s ‘ready to live again’ three years after the shocking and tragic death of her ex-boyfriend, Cory Monteith. HollywoodLife.com has all the details on how she’s found her happiness again!
You guys, we are SO happy to hear this! Lea Michele, 30, revealed on Sept. 15 that she has found her happiness again, YEARS after the horrible death of her ex-boyfriend, Cory Monteith. “I got back to the place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world,” the Scream Queens star told OK! Magazine.
And while Lea has fortunately found the joy in her life again, she admitted that staying positive and upbeat is still a work in progress — and we LOVE just how open and honest she is! “Getting to the other side takes a lot of work,” she said. “It’s a struggle. When you do there is happiness there.”
The Glee alum also got VERY honest recently about her feelings toward former co-star, Naya Rivera, 29, who discussed Cory’s drug addiction in her new memoir, Sorry Not Sorry. Lea was NOT happy that Naya discussed her late boyfriend’s personal issues in her book. “Lea wants to make sure that her memories from Glee are good ones,” a source EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife.com on Sept. 13. “She doesn’t like that Naya is rehashing old wounds and even though her words about her and Cory are mostly positive, she doesn’t want to hear from Naya on what they did or did not have in their relationship. She wants to move on and only think of the good times without ongoing commentary.”
