Healthy as a horse! Hillary Clinton is in great shape and her doctor has released an official letter to let the world know she’s A-okay following her recent bout with pneumonia. Keep reading for her physician’s declaration that she’s ‘healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States.’
“Mrs. Clinton has been seen by me this year for routine care,” her personal physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, began in the letter published on Hillary’s official site Sept. 14. “She has had recurrent blood testing for Coumadin dosing and adjustments. Her blood levels have been relatively stable. She has also had several allergy flares over the past year, which has been a typical pattern for most of her life. In consultation with her allergist, she responded well to her medication adjustments.” Sounds pretty darn normal to us!
As for the Democratic presidential nominee’s recent health scare where she became light-headed and dizzy leaving a 9/11 memorial in New York, her doctor was well aware of what she was going through as she’d already examined her beforehand. The statement said that on Sept. 2, Hillary was checked out due to “a fever, congestion and fatigue”, and she was “advised to see me when she returned from her travels for further testing.” On Sept. 9, Dr. Bardack gave her official diagnosis of Hillary’s ailment as “a mild non-contagious bacterial pneumonia,” and she was put on antibiotics and advised to rest.
We all know now that Hillary didn’t heed her doctor’s advice to take it easy, after cameras caught her having trouble on her feet at the Sept. 11 event. She appeared faint and needed to be assisted into her van as she left Ground Zero, and it had the world talking about if she was keeping any serious health news from the world. While she initially said she was just dehydrated, she revealed the pneumonia diagnosis the following day to put aside so many rumors about her health.
Her doctor checked Hillary out right after the 9/11 dizzy spell and said, “I examined her immediately upon her return home; she was re-hydrating and recovering nicely. I advised her to stay home and rest for the next several days. Mrs. Clinton has since been evaluated by me several times and continues to improve.” Hillary has now finally followed her doctor’s orders and taken the last three days off the campaign trail as she recovers.
Dr. Bardack concluded that, “Mrs. Clinton has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions this year other than a sinus and ear infection and her recently diagnosed pneumonia. She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest. She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States.”
