Kid Cudi better watch it — because now he has Kanye West AND Drake teaming up against him! After Cudi slammed the rappers on Twitter, Drizzy made sure to blast him during a concert in Oakland on Sept. 14. Watch it here!
“Boy, you getting way too high, you need to cudddd-it,” Drake, 29, said to Kid Cudi, 32, during his Summer Sixteen show on Sept. 14. Clearly, the rapper caught wind of the 32-year-old’s Twitter rant earlier in the day, in which he referred to Drake and Kanye West, 39, as “clowns” and said they didn’t write their own music.
Later in the show, Drizzy reportedly added, “I heard boys were talking down today. Shout-out to my brother Kanye West. We both got sold out shows.”
Of course, Kanye used his Florida concert as an opportunity to call Cudi out, as well, and he went on an even longer rant than his pal. While floating above the crowd on a giant stage, Yeezy told his former friend never to mention his name, and told the audience that he felt “hurt” and “disrespected” by what Cudi wrote on Twitter.
“Don’t ever mention my name in a bad manner!” he concluded his rant. “None of y’all!” The whole thing went on for nearly a minute and a half, which is pretty much what we’ve come to expect from ‘Ye at this point!
Meanwhile, Drake and Kanye have a collaborative album in the works, and with both of them beefing with the same guy, we definitely won’t be surprised if there’s some lines about him on one or multiple tracks. The drama is TOO really, you guys!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Drake’s response to Kid Cudi? Whose side are you on in this feud? Do you think they’ll ever make up?
