Renee Zellweger is once again addressing the major rumors that have plagued her for the last few years. The ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ star opened up in a new interview about ‘bad advice’ she took for terrible exhaustion. Would that be plastic surgery?
Bridget Jones’s Baby is Renee Zellweger‘s first movie in six years! The actress, 47, is happier and healthier than ever, but people still can’t keep talking about the rumors that she had significant plastic surgery on her face. The rumors first started in 2014, when she hit the red carpet at an Elle Women in Hollywood Gala, and reporters couldn’t even recognize her. Renee chalked it up to leading a “different, happier life,” but people wouldn’t let it go.
Now, Renee’s revealed in an interview with People magazine that during her hiatus from acting, she may actually have gone under the knife to combat the effects of looking tired all the time! Renee’s interview was primarily about dealing with exhaustion — the reason why she took her extended break. The interviewer asked her about the “bad choices you made about how to conceal your exhaustion.” Renee said she took a friend’s “bad advice…any good idea…when someone else’s suggestion about what might be a good idea feels like kindness.”
It would be interesting to know what bad advice she took from her friend. Renee has said in the past that she did not undergo plastic surgery. She penned a passionate 2015 essay entitled “We Can Do Better”, in which she wrote: “Not that it’s anyone’s business, but I did not make a decision to alter my face and have surgery on my eyes.” She’s beautiful, inside and out.
