The guys from ‘Jersey Boys’ have brought some Broadway to the ‘America’s Got Talent’ finale! Cast members from the show took the stage with finalist Sal Valentinetti to sing ‘Oh What A Night,’ and it was beyond epic.
The Jersey Boys foursome kicked things off with “Oh What A Night,” and during the first verse, Sal Valentinetti burst out from backstage to join in. His black suit contrasted their red ones, but he fit right into the group and literally seemed like he’d been performing with them for months! Oh, and he even learned some of the dance moves from the show and was moving right in tune with the rest of the guys. Now that’s talent!
It’s a great time to see the Jersey Boys getting out and giving the world a look at the show — because it only has a few more months left on Broadway! Yep, sadly, after 11 years, the play is shutting down on January 15, 2017, but for its final run, Mark Ballas will be taking on the iconic role of Frankie Valli. Fans spent weeks wondering why the pro dancer wasn’t on the cast list for Dancing With The Stars, and last week, we finally got the official announcement that it’s because he’s headed to Broadway instead! His run will start on Oct. 18.
Meanwhile, Sal is one of ten finalists vying to win season 11 of America’s Got Talent, and after an incredible night of performances on Sept. 13, it’s really tough to predict who will win it all. From singers, magicians, comedians and more, there’s SO much talent this season, and it really could go to anyone!
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of the Jersey Boys’ performance? Do you think Sal fit in well with the group? Should he be on Broadway?
