Jenny Packham’s stunning Spring 2017 collection was full of glamour as the designer was inspired by 31 women and based the collection on elements of their own individual style. Aside from their unique look, the diverse list of women also have a few things in common — they are all are strong and confident.
Jenny Packham‘s show was all about girl power as the designer sent 31 looks down the runway on Sept. 11 during New York Fashion Week, which were all inspired by 31 different women — and the show had a killer soundtrack to match as it incorporated songs from Stevie Nicks and Courtney Love, among others — a fitting choice considering they were 2 of the 31 names listed as inspiration for the show. From stylish jumpsuits to coordinating separates and, of course, the gorgeous gowns, the runway came to life with Jenny’s designs.
The designer looked toward the strong, confident and diverse women who served as her muses for the Spring 2017 collection, which consisted of countless red-carpet-worthy silhouettes. The intricate detailing and embellishments really stole the show, as floral embroidery, illusion tulle and sequins were featured throughout the line. Although the style of the women that the designer listed as her inspiration varies, the cohesive collection stayed true to her design aesthetic. The looks were paired perfectly with Christian Louboutin shoes.
