We’re still trying to recover from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on Sept. 12. In perhaps the scariest moment in show history, swimmer Ryan Lochte was rushed by protesters on the stage. Luckily, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY he has the full support of everyone on the show.
“Everyone feels bad for Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke and the fact that they had to deal with a potential life threatening experience,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Originally, there was talk that the dancers were mad that Ryan was on the show, and some even refused to work with him. Now it seems they’ve changed their tunes and actually care about the controversial swimmer.
“All the dancers and the celebs have their backs and have addressed that they are there for them if they need it,” the insider contained. “The support for Ryan and Cheryl is at a fever pitch right now and they both are very happy that everyone supports them because at the end of the day this show becomes a family between everyone and is a huge bonding experience. This incident only proved that further.”
Not only the other cast members, but also the producers support Ryan. “First things first, the fact that no one got hurt is what is on everyone’s mind right now but now that the smoke has cleared producers are smiling over all the media attention they are receiving over the incident,” the source revealed. “They are definitely riding the ‘no news is bad news’ train and loving everything that is coming from it. After 23 seasons they need any bump they can get and they hope this helps in the ratings moving forward.” We know we’ll be watching!
