Making her official return to the ballroom on the Season 23 premiere of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ on Sept. 12, dancing pro Cheryl Burke has been hard at work during her absence. Designing her own line of activewear, Cheryl gave us the scoop on her favorite pieces, plus her easy fitness advice anyone can follow!
Cheryl Burke, 32, is back in the ballroom with Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, 32. But before the two-time DWTS champ made her return on the season premiere, Cheryl spoke exclusively with HollywoodLife.com about her fitness line, cee bee by Cheryl Burke and how she stays in her best dancing shape.
Bringing her multi-functional athletic wear — which includes printed leggings, fitted tanks and oversized tops — to QVC, Cheryl says one of her favorite things about her collection is that it takes you from the gym to your busy routine. “The pieces are all about layering and were made for women on the go,” she told Hollywoodlife. “Just throw on a jacket and a pair of wedges and you’re ready to go out for brunch!”
To copy the pro dancer’s style, Cheryl shared that her favorite pieces to wear are her grey French Terry Zip Up Jacket, $69.98, the Scoopneck Racerback Tank in Cosmic Splash, $42, and her Crop Pants With Mesh Inserts in Blue and Purple, $45.48.
To keep her energy up through hours of dancing rehearsal and live shows, Cheryl said, “I’m on a program called Zen — it’s all organic food. I just try to eat three meals every day and focus on portion control,” she explained, adding, “Breakfast foods are really important for me. When I skip breakfast I notice that my energy is low all day.”
As for her easy tips for the average person, Cheryl has three rules to follow. “Get good sleep — up to eight hours every night if you can! It’s really important to eat breakfast every day and stay hydrated throughout the day,” she added.
