In the midst of a beautiful hidden garden in NYC, Tracy Reese revealed her Spring 2017 collection, filled with florals, watercolors and soft silks, made for women of all ages, shapes, colors and sizes.
Tracy Reese’s bright colors and gorgeous patterns are always recognizable, especially on her celebrity clientele. Her Spring 2017 line is sure to stand out even more, as it celebrates feminine spirit and the female body. Shown on Sept. 11 during New York Fashion Week, Tracy’s unique presentation featured a variety of women in her latest collection.
“It’s always been my mission to make every woman feel beautiful. Nothing makes me happier than seeing amazing women in our clothes and knowing that we can be a part of their daily lives,” Tracy had said about the SS17 collection. Whoopi Goldberg, who can frequently be found in Tracy’s designs, made an appearance at the NYFW presentation and reiterated Tracy’s statement, saying, “When you see her clothes, you think, ‘I want to be that woman in that outfit,’ she knows women.”
The collection offers a year-round wardrobe, with lace, florals, and solids, in figure-flattering cuts. Among a dancer who was fluttering through the garden and a string quartet in white frocks, the models were positioned wearing an array of pastels, including lavender, light blue and pink. And, the biggest treat of all, a model and her baby were clad in Tracy’s designs, posing on a bed of rose petals. Adorable!
Inspired by the woman who does everything, from being a mom to running a business, this line is great for the two women we all know do both! Jessica Alba, mommy to Haven and Honor and the founder of the Honest Company, is a working mama with amazing style! The actress is known to look incredible in florals and this Tracy Reese collection is absolutely for her. With button-off sleeves that show a bit of skin, plus soft silks and lace detailing, the line may have been made for Jessica!
Michelle Obama, who is known to wear Tracy Reese quite often, is the other choice for the perfect patron of the Spring 2017 collection. The line offered a unique take on suits in a deep purple with a floral pattern, which had the First Lady written all over it.
