Miley Cyrus is looking seriously elegant on the October issue of ‘ELLE’ magazine. The singer, who usually sports a makeup-free face, was practically unrecognizable in her soft pink makeup. Get the details on Miley’s new cover look, ahead!
Miley Cyrus, 23, may be a self-proclaimed “dirty hippie,” but she is having a major glam moment on ELLE mag’s October cover. Combing her fingers through her short pixie cut, Miley’s makeup takes center stage, and it is flawless.
Never shy when it comes to sharing an Instagram selfie without a drop of makeup (or even with spots of zit cream on her face), we had been missing Miley’s award show looks. But the singer and founder of the nonprofit organization, Happy Hippie, brought back a more made up look for Elle that’s totally different from her usual style.
Keeping her skin clean, Miley’s makeup centered around pretty pops of pink color along her cheekbones and on her lips. Rather than go bold, Miley’s makeup artist used pastel shades for a more feminine effect. To complete her sweet look, Miley’s brows were lightly filled in and brushed into place, and her lashes appeared to be kept more natural with just a coat of lengthening black mascara.
Inside the mag, Miley posed with her cropped cut slicked back, and she shared why we haven’t been seeing her out on the red carpet. “[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again,” she said. “Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m “important”? Because I’m “famous”? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit—it’s like Zoolander,” she went on to explain.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Miley’s cover? Is this her best look yet?
