OMG, pass the tissues because this very ‘Brady Bunch’ moment is too sweet to believe! Florence Henderson was in the audience to cheer on her TV daughter Maureen McCormick on ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ and the moment left them both in tears. You HAVE to see the emotional reunion.
OF COURSE Mama Carol Brady would be in the audience for Marcia Brady! Florence Henderson, 82, was beaming with pride as her eldest TV daughter from 1969 – 1974’s The Brady Bunch Maureen McCormick, 60, danced the Viennese Waltz on DWTS season 23’s opening night Sept. 12. As soon as she was done floating across the dance floor, the camera panned to Florence, who had tears of pride in her eyes as if Maureen was her very own child!
When host Tom Bergeron noted that she’d been a fan of the show for years and asked her how it felt to finally be there, Maureen, began to say, “It doesn’t feel real…” then noticed Florence and the two locked eyes and it was so emotional! She ran over to hug her TV mom who told her “You were fabulous, I’m so proud of you!” as they embraced. It was beyond touching and so obvious that Florence’s support meant the absolute world to Maureen. Not only that, Florence totally knows what it was like for Maureen to have to have the courage to get out there and go for it, as she herself competed in the show’s 11th season!

Maureen and her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, 34, ended up with a score of 22 out of 40 after a lovely Viennese Waltz to Aretha Franklin‘s “You Make Me Feel,” and the actress loved every second of it. Once she was done with her sweet reunion with Florence, she told Tom, “This is such a dream. It doesn’t feel real. It’s just so amazing to be on this set. I’m honestly just so thrilled that I’m here and being given this opportunity.” Awww, with touching moments like their tearful reunion, so are we!
