WOW! Chris Brown is clearly ENRAGED about something and he just let it all out! The singer was caught on video having a prolonged and heated argument with an individual in the stands of a charity basketball game Sept. 11 in CA! It must’ve been pretty crazy because police had to step in! Watch the insane feud here!
Chris Brown, 27, seems to be at the center of yet another controversial situation. The singer participated in the Power 106 Celebrity Basketball Game at USC and things got heated on and off the court. He is seen arguing with an unidentified person in the stands in a video by TMZ, and police had to step in. While it’s unclear what Chris and his opponent were spatting over, because of the loud music, one cop can be heard saying, “I don’t care who’s here, get it straight.”
The two had quite a few words since the video bleeps out some choice curse words by Chris. Their argument went on for a while, as the singer appeared to walk away once, but quickly came back for another round of feuding. Onlookers stared as everything was happening, and it did not look like the two resolved whatever they were disputing over. Chris is later seen speaking to a group of people, who we’re assuming are his people or mediators, before he took to the court to do what he came to do — Play ball.
However, Power 106 said on Sept. 12 that they are supporting what Chris did, as he was in fact yelling at a man who was in a section of the arena where he shouldn’t have been, according to TMZ. “There was a security issue but it had nothing to do with a fan,” Power 106 wrote in a screengrab that Chris posted to Instagram.
This was the same exact game during which Chris refused to stand while the National Anthem was sung. He didn’t explain why he decided not to stand, but it seems like he may be joining the opinions of Colin Kaepernick, 28, and a slew of other professional athletes who have chosen not to stand during the National Anthem. Colin has stated, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.”
This may not be the best time for the “Grass Ain’t Greener” to get involved in any troublesome situations. He is currently entangled in the remnants of assault accusations, after a party at his home seemed to take a wrong turn, involving, Baylee Curran, 25. Chris has an upcoming court date, Sept. 20, where he’s set to respond to charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
