Poor Hillary Clinton! Just hours after she nearly fainted at a 9/11 memorial service, it was revealed that the Democratic presidential candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia. Get the details right here!
“Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies,” Hillary‘s doctor Dr. Lisa R. Bardack announced in a statement. “On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule.”
It was initially announced that Hillary, 68, had become “overheated” during the September 11 memorial ceremony in New York City that required her to leave the event early. While Dr. Bardack did mention that overheating and dehydration played into Hillary’s near collapse, it was apparently her case of pneumonia that really pushed her over the edge. She didn’t just have to leave the service early, a bystander even caught scary video footage of Hillary stumbling on her way into the car!

Fortunately for Hillary and those who were concerned about the presidential hopeful, she has already said she’s “feeling great” and Dr. Bardack said the same. “I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely,” Lisa added in her statement. Phew!
Despite having a few fundraising events to attend this upcoming week, Hillary has been advised to get some rest for now and may have to postpone her appearances. But it sounds like Hillary is already on her way to getting back to good health, so we should see her right back on the campaign trail after she gets some much needed rest. We’re just glad she’s okay!
