After a house party at Chris Brown’s pad went horribly wrong, resulting in a police standoff, the hip hop artist has reportedly decided to majorly beef up his security — starting with a strict list of do’s and don’ts when it comes to partying in his home. Find out what he no longer allows here!
Chris Brown, 27, is laying down the LAW! With assault allegations hanging over his head, the singer has decided to make some changes to his party policy in order to prevent problems — like last month’s police standoff — from happening again in the future. And in doing so, he’s reportedly gotten super serious about certain rules, even cracking down on guest lists and no longer allowing randos to just show up at his Los Angeles crib.
Sounds like a pretty solid idea, right? But according to TMZ sources, the rules don’t just stop there! Chris is putting his foot down and doesn’t want anyone in his home whom he doesn’t know personally — he’s even informed his homeboys of these new guidelines. After all, he apparently blames his male friends and “thirsty chicks” for his recent arrest.
His two roommates/BFFs now have to submit a guest list to Chris in writing if they want to host a party — and Chris is reportedly even making them describe each person on the list in detail, which will allow Chris to decide whether or not he wants them in his house. Talk about extreme! But desperate times call for desperate measures. After all, the star was arrested on Aug. 30 after a female guest at his party, Baylee Curran, accused him of threatening her with a gun.
There’s no question the singer means business! And while Chris no longer will allow strangers on his property, he’s also prohibiting anyone from bringing drugs or alcohol to his parties. He allegedly refuses to take any chances, therefore, the only liquor and drugs allowed in are HIS!
After the epic standoff, Chris was arrested but then released from jail after posting $250,000 bail — his arraignment is tentatively set for September 20. But right from the beginning, the “Loyal” singer has completely denied all accusations brought forth by Baylee. “You know all this bullshit, everything going on man, I’m just gonna turn the other cheek,” he said in an Instagram post. “Drop some music.”
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — do you think the new rules Chris has reportedly set will help put an end to any problems that may occur in his home?
