Yikes! Desiigner was caught with OxyContin, methadone and illegal steroids — all drugs that were found in the SUV he and his friends were in when they were involved in a road rage incident on Sept. 8. Now the rapper is facing felony charges. Read on to get the full scoop!
We wouldn’t want to be in Desiigner‘s shoes right now, as the drugs that police allegedly found in the SUV he was riding with his friends during a road rage incident in New York on Sept. 8, included OxyContin, methadone and illegal steroids, according to TMZ. That’s some serious stuff. He and, the four pals who were in the car with him, were originally busted on multiple charges, including felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell. But the district attorney dropped that charge, and has left felony possession of a controlled substance, as well as menacing, on the table.
The drugs were found because another driver called 911 claiming the 19-year-old rapper pointed a gun at him from the backseat of the SUV. Because of that, Desiigner was also charged with felony possession of a loaded firearm, but that charge was dropped by the district attorney on Sept. 10 because, well, they couldn’t find a gun, according to TMZ. Police had obtained a search warrant to take the entire vehicle apart in order to see if there was a gun in a hidden compartment, but found no firearms. However, the “Panda” rapper is still up on that menacing charge, for waiving a gun at the other driver — even though they couldn’t find a gun.
Desiigner is being arraigned on the morning of Sept. 10 in New York City. The question now is, what punishment will fit the crime?
