Their parents might be going head-to-head in this presidential debate, but Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump’s friendship isn’t affected by it! The daughters of Donald and Hillary have been close long before this year’s campaign, and they’re not going to let politics shake that relationship. Check out the clip below.
Maybe the apple DOES fall far from the tree. Despite the fact that Hillary Clinton, 68, and Donald Trump, 70, have been bumping heads since day one of this presidential campaign, their daughters are keeping their friendship separate. Speaking to the ladies on The View, Chelsea, 36, claims she and Ivanka, 34, have been “friends long before this election,” and they’ll be “friends long after” it, as well. Check out the clip of Chelsea defending her relationship with Ivanka below!

So far in this race towards the White House, both Hillary and Donald have said not-so-nice things about each other. The words, “bigot,” “racist,” and “crooked” have been thrown around pretty frequently, but it’s all part of a different game that Chelsea and Ivanka aren’t playing. The daughters seem to understand that politics should not be taken personally — it’s a business, not a relationship, and they comprehend how to keep the two separate. “I have tremendous respect for Ivanka,” Chelsea continues on the daytime talk show. “I love her family. She’s a working mom like I am, and we have so much more in common than we do in disagreements.”
Chelsea is a loving mom to daughter Charlotte, and son Aidan, while Ivanka has three little cuties running around — Arabella, Theodore, and Joseph. As Hillary and Donald gear up for the final stretch coming this Nov., we can only assume both daughters will vote for their respective parents. Democratic politician Bernie Sanders and President Barack Obama have come out to say they will be voting for Hillary, with other celebrities like Katy Perry and Chloe Moretz rallying behind them.
HollywoodLifers, who will YOU be voting for this Nov.?
