It seems like ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pros, Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s unborn son has ALREADY inherited his parents’ mad dancing skills. After all, the proud mom-to-be couldn’t resist showing off her very active baby by posting a video of her moving belly — she even made a game out of it for fans! Watch the sweet clip here.
Peta Murgatroyd, 30, is currently 22 weeks pregnant and expecting a baby boy with her fiancé, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 36, in January. And so far, it definitely seems like the happy couple has a little dancer on their hands! And to prove it, Peta shared a video via Instagram and Twitter on Sept. 7, showing off her moving baby bump.
In the clip, the Dancing with the Stars reigning champ promptly displays her bare baby bump, which appears to be moving, as her son kicks from inside the womb. “#BabyChmerkovskiy playing around in Mummy’s tummy. I gave you the first kick :) how many more can you count?” she captioned the video.
We love how she made a little game out of the beautiful moment! And fans seemed to enjoy it too as they enthusiastically commented on the post. “Your baby is a little dancing machine in there! Soooo cute!!!!” one fan wrote next to the Insta. Another gushed, “Greatest feeling and so amazing how a lil human being grows inside us!! I know you and @maksimc are enjoying every minute of it!!” Aw!
And we have to say, we’re not at all surprised that Peta and Maksim’s little one is already on the move. I mean, his parents ARE dancing legends! And even in her pregnancy, Peta has not slowed down in terms of staying fit. Just last month, on Aug. 20, the blonde beauty posted a workout selfie with her bare belly exposed. “Gym time #letsgooooo,” she captioned the pic.
Peta and Maksim got engaged just last year, and after Peta won Dancing with the Stars this past spring, the pair officially announced their pregnancy — so sweet! And while they were originally planning to start a family after their summer 2017 wedding, they could not be happier about becoming parents!
