We all know Bethenny Frankel’s not one to hold back — and this was no different. Following the ‘RHONY’ reunion, she stopped by ‘Watch What Happens Live’ to dish about her serious feud with Luann de Lessps, and admits that things would have gotten physical had she not had a business to run.
“I think her despicable and tragic behavior speaks for itself,” Bethenny Frankel, 45, told Andy Cohen when he asked if there was anything she didn’t get to tell Luann on the Real Housewives of New York reunion special. On the special, Countess and Bethenny went head to head over Luann’s fiancé’s dating history with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.
Luann accused Bethenny of dating Dennis Shields while they were still married — and Bethenny could not get over that. “When someone says that I’m cheating or that I’m with someone who’s cheating and it could affect their whole family or flush through a whole press cycle, I’m not in that much of a good mood,” she said, adding she was very close to asking the show to conduct a lie detector test.
When Andy’s other guest Michael Rappaport asked Bethenny if there was a possibility their verbal fight could have turned physical, she admitted that yes, there was. “If I didn’t have a business I would have grabbed Luann by the throat. You saw it,” Bethenny added. “I wouldn’t have minded strangling her. I might have enjoyed it.”
“Luann never mentioned that ‘Oh god, my guy cheated.’ It was all me. I’m the terrible person — shoot the messenger,” she said. “What did I really do? I didn’t know what to do, and I would do it again.”
Well we have to say, we’re happy it didn’t get physical because as much as it makes good TV, these are all business women who we hope to see more of next season!
